Section 5: Insurance & Financial Responsibility for Damage
- OreGO Rentals does not provide, include, or extend any insurance or physical-damage coverage to you. No liability, collision, or comprehensive coverage is supplied by the Company.
- You are required to maintain your own valid auto insurance covering you while operating the vehicle, and you represent that you carry such insurance for the duration of the rental.
- You are fully financially responsible for all loss of or damage to the vehicle that occurs during your rental — regardless of fault or cause — including collision, comprehensive, theft, vandalism, and weather/acts of nature, together with related towing, storage, diminished value, loss-of-use, and administrative costs.
- You are fully responsible for any bodily injury, death, or property damage you cause to any third party while operating the vehicle. The Company does not insure against and is not liable for any such claims.
- If your personal auto insurer or credit-card benefit denies, limits, or does not pay a claim for any reason — including where you are at fault — you remain personally responsible for the full amount owed.
- Optional protection products may be offered by third-party providers at checkout. These are not insurance provided by OreGO Rentals; their coverage, terms, exclusions, deductibles, and claims handling are determined solely by the third-party provider.
